Apologies for the long absence in writing. Due to recent, unfortunate events, I have been kept away but fear not, I am back with a vengeance to bring you the latest info in the canine world!
We are currently looking after a 5 month old black labrador at the moment who is sweet as pie and gets on brilliantly with our collie pup – they’ve been charging round like maniacs since the puppy arrived on Sunday.

Dogs Trust is a charity ‘working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.’ (Dogs Trust, 2009)
They rescue thousands of dogs each year and campaign for canine welfare. They never put a healthy dog down and provide advice through outreach projects as well as educating the everyday dog owner, and school children, about their pets.
Dogs Trust also works internationally to help dogs in countries needing to develop their knowledge on welfare issues.

If you are thinking about getting a dog – or even getting another dog – why not consider a rescue?
Some rescue centres are absolutely full to bursting with healthy dogs looking for new homes – most due to no fault of their own.
