I’ve been rather hectic this week and, although keen to publish the R+ vs Alpha theory blog I am working on, I haven’t yet had time to fine tune it!

We all know the old adage that dogs are a man’s best friend, but I have to say, I really think it’s true.
I was lucky enough recently to be given the opportunity to have a little look into what Guide Dog Trainers do as well as meeting some of the dogs they work with and it is truly remarkable how bonded they are with the dogs, and brilliant to see the dogs eager to work but having fun at the same time.

As I am sure you are all aware, there has been another dog attack in the news which has resulted in the awful tragedy of a toddler losing her life.
At the moment, it is still rather unclear how the attack happened but the toddler died from severe head injuries whilst the dog’s owner was absent from the home.

I am an animal lover and, as such, share my house with a variety of animals including two degus, a cockatiel, mischevious collies and a hawk (although I share the garden more than the house with him!)…
But finding a property that will allow you to rent with pets is an absolute nightmare.

Taking your dog for a walk in the park could now result in a £75 on the spot fine – or more if taken to court!
Nottinghamshire councils have now passed a dog ban on 72 of their parks after dog owners have failed to clear up mess left by their pets.
Animal Welfare Officers and Park Rangers will be enforcing the ban along with PCSO’s but a statement issued from a member of the Kennel Club has argued that the ban is ‘well overstepping things.’
