Dogs Trust – Making A Difference

20 May 2009 No Comment

Dogs Trust is a charity ‘working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.’ (Dogs Trust, 2009)

They rescue thousands of dogs each year and campaign for canine welfare. They never put a healthy dog down and provide advice through outreach projects as well as educating the everyday dog owner, and school children, about their pets.

Dogs Trust also works internationally to help dogs in countries needing to develop their knowledge on welfare issues.

The Dogs Trust website is jam-packed with information on the charity and ways in which they help our doggy friends.
