So last weekend we had a new arrival come home. She was pudgy and wrinkly and beautiful and orange. Well sort of a reddy, ginger, orange. No,it’s not the baby of a tellytubby. She is infact a rescue pupster. More accurately a Dogue De Bordeaux. We have been told that she is around 2 years old and an ex breeding bitch who was hogtied and subjected to forced mating so that some horrible backyard breeders could make a profit from the puppies. She also seems to have lost some of her teeth – which we think were removed deliberately by the breeders.

She has scars all over her body, especially behind her head and on her legs, which shows she has been subjected to some horrendous treatment – but despite her traumatic past she has so far been good as gold with the sweetest personality ever. She is friendly and, for the most part, very trusting of us humans.
