I’ve been rather hectic this week and, although keen to publish the R+ vs Alpha theory blog I am working on, I haven’t yet had time to fine tune it!

As far as doggy news goes, my sister’s Leonberger sadly passed away a little while ago and left (quite literally) a massive hole…he was an absolutely fantastic dog with a big waggy tail and an adoration for all things ball shaped (the squeakier the better!)

There has been a new addition to the family – a newfie x berner pup who is stunning and full of beans (even though his legs are doing that wonky puppy thing!).

And it seems there may well be yet another addition on the horizon as another sister of mine is looking to rescue a mastiff from a rescue based in Kent – fingers crossed it all goes well!

I have been feeling rather guilty as I haven’t had much chance to work with my own dogs recently – and Melon knows it! But I am hoping to spend this evening doing some clicker training (as Melon has begun to master handstand off the sofa!) and it does great things for Reub’s confidence…although speaking of Reub’s, I think he’s feeling his age somewhat as he’s been a little subdued and stiff recently. Will be keeping a close eye!
